Under the auspices of the Region of Crete, INZEB in collaboration with MINOAN ENERGY COMMUNITY is organising the training programme Energy Supporters and Mentors within the frame of the H2020 POWERPOOR project. The training programme will be held on Thursday 20 October 2022 at 14.30 – 19.30 EEST, at ibis Styles Hotel in Heraklion, Crete.
The trainees will get familiar with the phenomenon of energy poverty and the ways to directly help households to find out whether they are facing energy poverty, using the tools developed under the POWERPOOR project.
The training programme will be followed by a certification process, which will allow the successful candidates to engage with energy-poor citizens, enabling them to recognise the issue and providing them with advice on behaviour changes or low-cost measures. In addition, the Energy Supporters and Mentor will help and support energy-poor citizens in securing funding and implementing energy efficiency interventions.
The training programme will be held in Greek. There is no participation fee, but registration is needed.
