We invite you to join us for an insightful in person event organised by the EU Climate Pact Country Coordinator for Greece, INZEB, in collaboration with EU Climate Pact Ambassadors Katerina Bakousi and Dimitris Symeonidis. This event, scheduled for Thursday, 18 July 2024, from 18:30 to 21:00, will focus on the climate challenges in the area.
Our aim is to engage citizens in meaningful citizen science activities, focusing on understanding and addressing the lake’s environmental issues. Through a guided walk and subsequent discussion, we aspire to educate participants about the ecological status of Lake Koroneia, and explore how they can contribute to scientific data collection and environmental monitoring.
After the event, we expect participants to be more informed about the environmental issues of the Lake, and that they will implement and promote sustainable practices within their communities and advocate for stronger environmental policies and initiatives.
