As we continue our events in the region of Central Macedonia, Greece, we invite you to join us for an educational in person event organised by the EU Climate Pact Country Coordinator for Greece, INZEB, in collaboration with EU Climate Pact Ambassadors Dr Zoi Aliozi, Nikolaos Apostolidis and George Charalabidis. The event, will take place on Friday, 19 July 2024, from 19:00 to 21:30, and will focus on Climate Justice in Greece.
We are aiming to engage citizens in a meaningful discussion concentrating on ecosystem protection, citizen awareness, and addressing environmental challenges. The event aspires to foster a deeper understanding of the relationship between climate justice and the rights of humans, animals, and nature. By combining a climate walk followed by an open discussion we seek to create an immersive and interactive experience highlighting the importance of protecting our natural environment and promoting sustainable practices.
Afterwards, the participants will be more informed about climate justice issues and motivated to take personal and collective action. We hope that attendees will become advocates for ecosystem protection in their communities, actively participate in environmental initiatives, and support policies aimed at preventing environmental challenges.
