Since 2014, INZEB as a non-profit independent organisation with a continued focus on a sustainable and energy-balanced future, is working in areas including energy efficiency buildings, energy efficiency finance, energy poverty and energy communities with an interdisciplinary team of experts generating and disseminating scientific insights, research results and innovative programmes.

INZEB’s endeavour is based on the encouragement and support of the constantly evolving energy sector through research, documentation, consultation and implementation of plans and capacity building programmes of national, European and international projects.

By working closely with an extensive network of EU institutions, national, regional, and local authorities, NGOs, academic and business sector at national, European, and international level, INZEB has built valuable partnerships that enable knowledge exchange on energy efficiency and empower the ability to implement, disseminate and exploit scientific-based project outcomes towards sustainable energy transition and climate change.

Vision

INZEB performs as an aggregator, operator, documenter and disseminator of knowledge and expertise on issues related to buildings’ energy savings, the reinforcement of green financing by leveraging public and private funds and energy poverty. INZEB aspires making positive impact for the organisations, the projects and the communities that are served, by transforming challenges into opportunities and growth.

Through the dual focus on the impact and dynamic relationships with key stakeholders at national and European level, INZEB’s vision is the establishment of a vibrant community that works collaboratively on directing and advancing energy policy planning towards energy balance and energy democracy.

In virtue of publications, roundtable discussions, events, and social networks management, INZEB is creating a prosperous ground for dialogue, collaboration, and coaction for everyone interested in improving the quality of energy environmental policy.
