As the fashion industry remains one of the world’s most resource-intensive and polluting sectors, our clothing choices have a profound impact on both the environment and society. INZEB, the EU Climate Pact Country Coordinator for Greece, in collaboration with EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki and the Municipality of Thessaloniki, invite you to the second session of the online series “Everyday Climate – Greener Choices, Real Life”, an initiative that aims to decode sustainability and offer actionable tools for meaningful everyday change.
This session, titled “Wear Your Values: How to Dress Sustainably Without Compromise”, will take place on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, from 15:30 to 17:00 EEST, and will explore how individuals can align their wardrobe with their environmental and ethical values, without sacrificing style, comfort, or self-expression.
During the session, we will examine:
- What sustainable fashion really means, beyond buzzwords and greenwashing.
- How consumers can identify and support ethical brands and circular practices.
- Practical ways to reduce textile waste through conscious purchasing, upcycling, clothing swaps, and repair.
- The broader system of fast fashion and how citizen choices can drive industry transformation.
Whether you’re a fashion enthusiast, a sustainability advocate, or simply curious about making more responsible choices, this session will provide inspiration and tools for dressing with purpose.
