On 13-14 May 2026, the second in-person project meeting of the Energy Poverty Nexus Consortium took place in Zagreb, Croatia, at the Zagreb Energy Center (ZEC).

Organised by DOOR, with contributions from Climate Alliance, WP leaders and task leaders, the meeting brought together all project partner organisations, with 16 participants attending in person and 4 joining online, including representatives of CINEA.

During the meeting, key aspects of the project’s work packages were thoroughly discussed, including the progress made during the first 9 months of the project, upcoming priorities, the planning for capacity building activities, the status of the stakeholder engagement, and the establishment of the Energy Poverty Observatories’ theoretical and methodological framework, as well as the sustainability and replication of the project’s results.

Following this constructive meeting, held in a spirit of teamwork and collaboration, we continue our efforts to empower EU Member States to combat energy poverty and build a more sustainable and energy-efficient future for all.
