The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) invites organisations from across Europe to submit session proposals for its Annual Conference 2026, which will take place in Athens, Greece, on 17-18 March 2026.
Organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy, in collaboration with the City of Athens, Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH), and with the support of local antenna INZEB, this high-level conference will bring together policymakers, local governments, practitioners and experts to address the pressing challenge of energy poverty. With rising energy costs, low household incomes, and insufficient building performance affecting millions, the event will spotlight long-term, people-centred solutions and integrated local action.
EPAH is looking for organisations eager to highlight their work, present their initiatives, share their practical knowledge and experience, and support local governments in their mission to tackle energy poverty. Session organisers can contribute by hosting hands-on workshops, panel discussions and networking presentations.
Proposals should address one or more key themes, such as:
Identifying and measuring energy poverty
Community-driven solutions and energy communities
Behavioural change and awareness
One-stop-shops and local advice services
Home renovation for vulnerable households
Financial instruments and practical support
Who can apply?
Local and regional governments, civil society organisations, EU and national initiatives, research institutions, energy agencies, and public or private organisations. Proposals must involve 2-4 partner entities.
Submit your session proposal through the application online form.
