The 3rd Working Group Meeting of the SMAFIN Expanded project in Greece was held online on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
During the meeting, the developments in energy efficiency investments since the previous meeting were discussed, with the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) and the Social Climate Plan being showcased as the two key policy tools. In addition, the challenges for securing investments for SMEs were explored, as well as topics for the parallel sessions of the upcoming 2nd National Roundtable were proposed.
WG members agreed that the Social Climate Fund Plan will be highlighted as a topic at the 2nd National Roundtable of SMAFIN Expanded. The event is expected to include a session on residential buildings and another focusing on SMEs and micro-enterprises.
