Upcoming Event: SMAFIN Expanded Cross Country Lab

We are pleased to announce the upcoming SMAFIN Expanded Cross Country Lab, which will take place online via Zoom on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00 CET. This high-level event will bring together experts, national stakeholders, and regional actors to explore smart and inclusive financing solutions for energy efficiency in buildings.

Organised under the framework of the SMAFIN Expanded project, the Lab will offer an opportunity for cross-country exchange of experiences and best practices, with a focus on:

  • Innovative financing models
  • One-stop-shop support mechanisms
  • Strategies to ensure inclusive access for vulnerable groups
  • The role of national roundtables in shaping regional and EU-level policy

The event will feature expert presentations followed by a roundtable discussion designed to explore how successful financing schemes can be scaled and replicated across Europe. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of simplification, transparency, and coordinated policy frameworks in accelerating the implementation of financing tools that support the green transition.

This is a valuable opportunity to join an active dialogue on how smart financing can support sustainable building renovation and energy resilience across Europe.

Participation is free, but registration is required
