On November 25, 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00 EEST, Europe Direct Central Macedonia, the American Farm School of Thessaloniki and Perrotis College as the hosting organisation, will co-organise a tree-planting event in collaboration with We4All, partner organisation of the EU Climate Pact, and INZEB, the national coordinator for the EU Climate Pact in Greece.
Within the framework of the European campaign #3BillionTrees, which aims to plant 3 billion trees by 2030 to support nature restoration in Europe, this initiative aims to contribute to the creation of a green lung in the city. The new forest will increase the biodiversity of the region and will foster the development of a new ecosystem.

The event will take place in the area between CEDEFOP (European Centre for the Development of Professional Training) & Technopolis, Thessaloniki.
