On June 30, 2026, we were pleased to organise in Athens, in collaboration with DAFNI Network, a roundtable stakeholder meeting as part of the Energy Poverty Nexus project.
The Energy Poverty Nexus aims to empower EU Member States to address energy poverty and contribute to its long-term alleviation through the establishment of Energy Poverty Observatories in Bulgaria, Estonia, Spain, Croatia, Hungary, and Poland, while supporting the existing observatory in Greece.
The event brought together stakeholders from public administration and local government, academia, energy agencies, civil society organisations, regulatory authorities, and the Greek Energy Poverty Observatory, which plays a key role in monitoring energy poverty, supporting evidence-based policymaking, and strengthening the country’s governance framework.
Discussions focused on exchanging views on the definition of energy poverty and the monitoring indicators used in Greece, as well as on the creation of a network of experts to help shape national strategies and support policymakers in designing and implementing measures for energy-vulnerable citizens.
