SMAFIN – Open Discussion with Municipalities

The SMAFIN project, funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, has as its primary objective the connection of the smart finance to energy saving projects in buildings, infrastructure, industry, SMEs and many more. In this context, an online open discussion with invited municipalities, will be held on Friday 31 March 2023 at 10.30-12.00, organised by CRES and INZEB in the framework of the project. In this event, the policy proposal for Greece, which concerns the creation of One Stop Shops for the energy renovation of housing, will be presented and discussed with representatives of local authorities to explore the prospect of integrating such a service into the structures and services of a municipality. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about the project’s developments and participate in discussions on energy-saving initiatives.

The aim is to present the policy proposal for the creation of One Stop Shops and to discuss the potential of integrating such a service into the structures and services of local authorities. We will be joined by representatives from local authorities, who will participate in a discussion and provide valuable insights into how we can improve the proposal.
