INZEB Participates at the 2nd EPAH Info Day in Thessaloniki

Get ready for a transformative event poised to tackle the pressing issue of energy poverty! Anatoliki S.A. and the Technical Chamber of Western Macedonia in Greece are co-organising the 2nd Info Day, within the framework of the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH). This event is scheduled to take place on November 9, 2023, hosted at the Technical Chamber of Greece in Thessaloniki. Supported by the European Commission, EPAH is on a mission to guide local and regional authorities in sculpting policies and implementing actions aimed at fostering a just energy transition and alleviating energy poverty.


One of the sessions will be presented online by Alice Corovessi, the Managing Director of INZEB and Vice President of the European Renovate Europe Campaign 2022 & 2023. Her presentation, “Effective Policies for Addressing Energy Poverty in Municipalities: Their Implementation in Nine Greek Islands”, will shed light on practical approaches to combating energy poverty and their application in nine Greek islands.


This event marks a significant opportunity to delve into strategies empowering municipalities to combat energy poverty. Through a series of insightful talks and discussions, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and effective policies in the energy domain.


The Info Day, co-organised by Anatoliki S.A. and the Technical Chamber of Western Macedonia in Greece within the framework of the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub, will kick off with registrations at 09:30 EET, followed by an opening session and welcome addresses at 10:00 EET. The agenda includes various informative sessions such as “Tools to Combat Energy Poverty” by Christos Papantos of ANATOLIKI S.A., “Energy Poverty: Tomorrow’s Social, Economic, and Energy Challenge” by Dimitris Kouskouridis, and more, culminating in a fruitful discussion and conclusive takeaways.


INZEB’s active participation in this event underscores its commitment to driving change in the energy sector, utilising expertise and practical insights to pave the way for a more sustainable and equitable future.
