We are pleased to participate in the CEESEN-BENDER conference “Energy Renovation & Energy Poverty: Practical Pathways Forward in the CEE”, taking place tomorrow, 14 May 2026, in Zagreb, Croatia.
Bringing together policymakers, financiers, local stakeholders, and citizens, the conference will serve as a strategic forum for exchanging concrete experiences, policies, and practical financial models for the deep renovation of multi-apartment buildings across Central and Eastern Europe, with the aim of addressing energy poverty.
Our Managing Director, Alice Corovessi, will contribute to the panel discussion, “Energy Observatories and Practical Tools as Solutions for Addressing Energy Poverty” where she will showcase Energy Poverty Nexus, our project aiming at empowering EU Member States to alleviate energy poverty through the establishment of energy poverty observatories in Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Hungary, and Poland.
Launched in 2023, the CEESEN-BENDER project aims to empower vulnerable homeowners and renters living in Soviet-era multi-apartment buildings across Central & Eastern Europe. The project supports residents throughout the renovation process by identifying key barriers and developing support services for homeowners, homeowners’ associations, and building managers.
The event is organised as part of the European Sustainable Energy Week programme.
