INZEB at EUSEW 2022

INZEB is attending the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2022, consisting of an extended programme, which will take place from Monday 19 to Friday 23 September 2022, and will be followed by a policy conference the week after, from Monday 26 to Friday 30 September 2022.


On Monday 19 September 2022 at 10.30 CET, INZEB will participate in the session “Activate finance against energy poverty: suitable financial schemes to mitigate energy poverty”. This interactive session built as a knowledge exchange webinar, targets all stakeholders working on developing new financial schemes to finance energy transition and also those protecting the rights of vulnerable consumers. The panel of speakers includes, Dragomir Tzanev, Executive Director of Center for Energy Efficiency EnEffect, Ivan Jankovic, Team Lead at BPIE, and Alice Corovessi, Managing Director, INZEB. The session will be moderated by Kęstutis Kupšys, Member of the European Economic and Social Committee, Vice-President of the Lithuanian Consumers Alliance.


On the next day, Tuesday 20 September 2022 at 09.00 CET, INZEB is also joining the session “Long-term planning and digitalisation as key enablers for successful energy renovations”. This session will show

  • How future-proof planning and digitalisation can support authorities and citizens in reducing the energy demand of EU buildings in the context of high energy prices
  • The EPBD revision
  • Optimising living conditions by showcasing best practices and initiatives that are already in place at national, regional, and building level to inspire further action.

Moderated by Celine Carré, President of EuroACE, the session will join Sean Kelly, Member of the European Parliament (EPP, IE), Daniela Bachner, Project Adviser, LIFE Energy, European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), Hakim Lahlou, Directeur Innovation et Stratégie Grand Groupes à la Direction des Prêts, Banque des Territoires, Roel Vermeiren, Renovation Strategy Consultant, Flemish Energy & Climate Agency, and Alice Corovessi, Managing Director, INZEB.
