The ERASMUS+ Programme project Training for Energy Consumers Empowerment – TRECE and the Center for Renewable Sources and Energy Saving (CRES), organise a European online event on the empowerment of consumers to address the phenomenon of energy poverty, entitled “Energy Poverty in the EU: Current Situation, Policies, Consumers Empowerment“. Alice Corovessi, Managing Director of INZEB, will be at the event, presenting the POWERPOOR project.
The online event will take place on Tuesday 21 December 2021, from 09.30 to 14.00 EET, via Zoom platform and will be held in English.
The event, in order to address the issue of energy poverty globally, has been divided into three sessions:
- The situation of energy poverty and policies to address it in the EU and the partner countries of the project (Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Romania, Slovenia)
- Presentation of real cases / experiences by competent bodies (organisations, social workers) and practical solutions
- European projects aiming at tackling energy poverty and presentation of the TRECE training platform.
