INZEB at the International Social Housing Festival 2022, Helsinki

This year’s International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) will be held in Helsinki from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 June 2022, organised by ARA, The City of Helsinki and the Housing Europe. International and Finnish partners will gather and through discussions, seminars and workshops will highlight the role of social housing and explore the political priority of the people.


The H2020 POWERPOOR project will be at ISHF, at the event entitled “The new movement of certified energy mentors and supporters tackling energy poverty” organised under the festival theme “achieving affordability and sustainability in housing”, to present the Energy Supporters and Mentors movement of POWERPOOR. The event is organised by Housing Europe and NTUA, while INZEB and EKYL, who are among the pilot partners of POWERPOOR, will also attend the event, giving information on how to support energy poor citizens and alleviate the phenomenon of energy poverty.
The event will be held on Wednesday June 15th, 2022, at 14.00-18.00.

Within the same festival theme, the seminar “The Renovation Wave and Energy poverty: the special case of owner occupiers in multi-apartment buildings“ will be held on Wednesday June 15th, 2022, at 12.30-15.00, organised by Habitat for Humanity International. Alice Corovessi, Managing Director, INZEB, will be among the speakers of the seminar, discussing about INZEB’s role in policy and regulatory terms and in energy poverty mitigation.
