The Association of Greek Valuers is organising its first event for 2023 addressing the topic “Energy and Real Estate”. The event is scheduled for Saturday 28 January 2023, at the Electra Palace Hotel in Athens, Greece.
Buildings’ energy performance, energy renovation, energy management, energy poverty in businesses, and net metering are just a few of the topics to be addressed by the line-up of speakers consisting of distinguished field experts, namely Konstantinos Gatis, Head of Real Estate Research and Advisory Group, National Bank of Greece, Antonia Atsidakou, REV, Civil Engineer, Senior Valuer, Cepal Hellas, Alice Corovessi, Managing Director, INZEB and Vice Chair of Renovate Europe Campaign 2022 & 2023, Ioannis Pappas, Mechanical Engineer, Head of Energy Management & Property Maintenance Department, Cerved Property Services, Stavros Papadakis, Head of Valuations & Real Estate Valuation Department, Attica Bank Properties, and, Frixos Papadopoulos, Property & Engineering Director, OPAP.
In this context, the model of “Building Renovation Passport – BRP”, which was delivered and developed by the results of the iBRoad project (2017-2020), will be presented to the audience as a groundbreaking solution for building renovation.
The iBRoad2EPC project, the continuation of the iBRoad project, aims to bridge the Building Renovation Passport with the EPC. This is a document which provides a customised and comprehensive roadmap for renovating a building, aimed at significantly improving its energy efficiency. The BRP is created through an on-site energy audit and meets strict quality criteria, ensuring that the building’s energy performance is optimised.
The renovation plan can be further enhanced with a digital logbook, which serves as a repository of information about the building. This logbook can include building plans, maintenance procedures, details of renovation work, energy consumption and production data, and EPC data, among other critical information.
