Stefan Scheuer, Environmental & Energy Policies EU Affairs, presented at the end of August 2019 a study entitled “From a policy win to sound national plans. Part II: eight-country stories”. The study commissioned by the European Climate Foundation.
This study was based on the obligation that the EU Member States have. With the Energy Union Governance, Member States are required to use a common analytical basis to set their energy targets and measures and present everything in one single document – the integrated National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP).
The study is based on interviews with stakeholders from eight Member States, including Greece.
INZEB accepted the invitation and took part in the interviews, presenting the current situation in our country as well as the prospects for strengthening energy-saving actions.
