EU Climate Pact goes to Peloponnese! Our first stop: the city of Kalamata.
“Harvesting Sustainability in the Region of Peloponnese – From Concept to Action: Practical Applications of Circular Economy by Young Innovators” is the first event in the Region of Peloponnese that INZEB, the Country Coordinator for Greece for the EU Climate Pact, is organising in collaboration with EU Climate Ambassador Nasos Makios, on Thursday 16 of May 2024.
The event will be hosted at the 7th Kalamata’s High Experimental School aiming to engage the students with sustainability issues. We will delve into circular economy principles and their significance in mitigating environmental challenges. Together with our young audience and their teachers we will examine how to apply circular economy strategies to various scenarios and explore its potential to address raw material shortages and combat climate change. Furthermore, the school’s dedicated circular economy team will demonstrate practical applications of circular economy principles by showcasing their innovative projects. Our goal is to provide a hands-on look at how the theoretical concept of circular economy can be transformed into tangible, impactful actions in everyday life.
