Fostering Sustainable Urban Development and Green Infrastructure in Greece

Join us on Thursday, 27 March 2025, from 16:00 to 17:30 for the insightful EU Climate Pact event “Fostering Sustainable Urban Development and Green Infrastructure in Greece”. This webinar, organised by INZEB, the Country Coordinator for Greece for the EU Climate Pact will explore modern tools and models for sustainable urban development at local level and promote the implementation of green infrastructure in Greek cities, providing new opportunities to tackle climate change through the active participation of citizens. The event will focus on creating livable, resilient, and environmentally friendly urban spaces.

The key objectives are to present and discuss the challenges of urbanisation and climate change by highlighting innovative approaches to sustainable city planning, to improve urban living conditions, reduce environmental impact, and enhance resilience against climate-related risks.

The event will be moderated Alice Corovessi, Managing Director INZEB and Country Coordinator for the EU Climate Pact.
