Yesterday, on Monday, June 17, 2024, the new biweekly TV Broadcasts were launched, an activity dedicated to the EU Climate Pact and our amazing EU Climate Pact Ambassadors in Greece. EU Climate Pact Ambassador Andreas Vassilopoulos proposed this idea and kindly offers the infrastructure for the realisation of the broadcasts. Every two weeks, Andreas Vassilopoulos and INZEB’s Managing Director and Country Coordinator for the EU Climate Pact Alice Corovessi, will be moderating the discussions with the invited Αmbassadors and other guests on critical climate issues.
In the first TV Broadcast, we had the privilege of hosting three inspiring EU Climate Pact Ambassadors: Constantinos S. Psomopoulos, Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of West Attica, and Researcher at Earth Engineering Center of Columbia University of NY, and Vice Chair of WTERT Council of Greece, and Member of the Board of Hellenic ISWA – Head of Circular Economy Sector, and Member of the Circular Cities Forum (Representative of UniWA), and Expert on Eco-design of products and systems materials and energy recovery from wastes, Efthymia (Fenia) Karamitrou, Lawyer and Research Associate, with MSc in Tourism and Local Development, and Stefania Zourka, Attorney-at-Law with Master of Laws (LLM) – International and European Legal Studies, Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Junior Project Manager at CluBE. They three Ambasadors had the opportunity to share their personal journeys, their motivations for becoming ambassadors, and the manner in which they organise effective local actions. Their exciting plans for the future are sure to inspire you and make you feel connected to the cause.
