On Thursday, 17 September 2026, the first meeting of the 2026 EPAH Technical Assistance in Greece took place at the Energy Poverty Alleviation Office of the City of Athens.
The meeting, organised by INZEB in its capacity as technical expert to three of the five Technical Assistances in Greece, was attended by representatives of the Energy Poverty Alleviation Office (EPAO) of the City of Athens, the Municipality of Kastoria and the Kastoria Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from the municipalities of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, Marathon and Rafina-Pikermi.
The meeting focused on presenting the objectives of each Technical Assistance and on the implementation of the relevant work programme, with the aim of providing a better understanding of the individual stages of the tailored support that beneficiaries will receive.
In addition, the work and operation of the Energy Poverty Alleviation Office were presented as good practice, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience on tackling energy poverty at a local level.
