We are very pleased to share the new Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) report entitled “Residential Energy Efficiency and Energy Poverty in the EU: Building Conditions, Thermal Confort, and Vulnerable Groups”.
EPAH’s latest report examines how the energy performance of residential buildings influences energy poverty across the European Union.
Drawing on EU-SILC and OECD housing data, the report explores who and why is most affected, and how poor insulation, inefficient heating systems, low energy performance, as well as ongoing policy efforts are linked to household vulnerability across the EU Member States.
The report also highlights where building inefficiency and energy poverty overlap, providing valuable insights to help target renovation support and financing more effectively.
