Energy Transition: The Role of Local Energy Communities and the Models of Local Energy Ownership

The CONGREGATE project is combining two of the key playfields of the energy transition: the renovation of the multifamily apartment buildings and the initiation of energy communities with the active involvement of the municipalities. Specifically, the second axle of the project promotes the establishment of public-private renewable energy cooperatives in Bulgaria, Greece, and the Czech Republic. To achieve this, the project conducts three case studies per country and supports feasibility studies in the involved municipalities.

Within this context, an informative online workshop is organised on Wednesday 2 February 2022 at 10.00 – 12.00 CET entitled Energy Transition: The role of local energy communities and the models of local energy ownership. The online workshop is co-organised by EnEffect (BG), SEVEN (CZ), and INZEB (GR) within the frame of GONGREGATE project and will take place via Zoom platform.

The working language will be English. There is no attendance cost for this workshop, but registration is required.
