Climate Policy Breakfast: Climate Change, Vulnerability & Social Cohesion

We are very pleased to launch Climate Policy Breakfasts, a new series of European Climate Pact events. The first Climate Policy Breakfast on Climate Change, Vulnerability and Social Cohesion took place on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, with the participation of European Climate Pact Ambassadors, the European Commission Representation in Greece and external experts.

The event was organised by INZEB as a closed, structured policy discussion aimed at enabling participants to exchange views and concerns on an equal footing.

The discussion centred on climate policy, public governance, and their relation to scientific knowledge, exploring how they can enhance social cohesion and legitimisation, and how climate policy can embed the dimensions of social inequalities and public health within the Greek context.

The Climate Policy Breakfast on Climate Change, Vulnerability and Social Cohesion has resulted into the Discussion Mapping Report: Key Challenges and Emerging Reflections on Climate Change, Vulnerability and Social Cohesion, reflecting the main themes and questions that emerged during the dialogue.

The report is available in Greek here, while an English version will also be released soon.

We would like to thank everyone for participating in this meaningful and engaging discussion!
