Assessing Energy Poverty at the Local Level: A Workshop on Innovative Approaches

On Thursday, May 4th, 2023, the Energy Community will host a webinar titled “Assessing Energy Poverty at the Local Level.” The event will run from 10:00-12:00 CET and will feature a presentation by the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) on how to bring energy poverty research into local practice. Following the presentation, winners of EPAH’s 2022 Call for Technical Assistance will share best practices and lessons learned from their individual approaches to assessing energy poverty at the local level.

Among the speakers will be Alice Corovessi, Managing Director of INZEB, who will address the issue of energy poverty diagnosis in different local contexts in Greece. Her presentation, along with those of the other speakers, will provide valuable insights into innovative approaches for tackling energy poverty at the local level.

The event will be an excellent opportunity for participants to share their experiences and knowledge, learn from each other, and develop new strategies to address energy poverty. Moreover, the workshop will offer a platform for networking and building relationships among participants who share a common goal of achieving energy justice and reducing energy poverty.

In conclusion, the “Assessing Energy Poverty at the Local Level” webinar will be a promising event that will bring together experts from diverse fields to share their perspectives and experiences on innovative approaches to tackling energy poverty. The Energy Community deserves recognition for organising this informative and engaging webinar, and we look forward to future events of a similar nature.
