INZEB is proud to feature Alice Corovessi’s interview in Catalyst Magazine, where she shared insights on her role as Country Coordinator for Greece for the European Climate Pact and how INZEB is driving impactful change in the energy and sustainability sectors. Alice Corovessi highlighted the European Climate Pact’s mission to mobilise citizens, organisations, and local communities to take collective action toward a climate-neutral Europe, emphasising that education, collaboration, and innovation are fundamental to achieving this vision.
The significant focus of the interview was on the transformative role of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in equipping individuals with the green skills necessary to address today’s energy and climate challenges. Alice Corovessi underlined that VET bridges the gap between theory and practice, preparing a workforce capable of implementing sustainable solutions across industries such as energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable construction.
She also stressed the importance of fostering strong partnerships across sectors, highlighting that collaboration between local authorities, NGOs, businesses, and civil society is essential to accelerate the energy transition. INZEB’s work aligns with this collaborative approach by developing and implementing projects that tackle energy poverty, improve housing conditions, and advocate for the integration of renewable technologies. These initiatives not only support environmental goals but also ensure that vulnerable households and communities are included in the path toward sustainability.
Through her role with the European Climate Pact and her leadership at INZEB, Alice Corovessi continues to drive forward meaningful, on-the-ground solutions that connect citizens to climate action.
