We are very pleased to announce that, from 9 to 13 June 2026, our newly launched Transforming Invisible Buildings project will be present at the New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels.
Funded by the European Climate Initiative (EUKI), the project aims to address two of Europe’s pressing challenges, the housing crisis and energy poverty, by renovating vacant and underutilised buildings rather thatn constructing new ones, in Athens, Ljubljana, and Zagreb.
Visitors are invited to explore the Transforming Invisible Buildings project through an interactive stand at the Festival of the New European Bauhaus in Brussels, in which they can participate in an interactive game about the housing emergency, share their housing story, and learn how the project applies sufficiency principles to make more energy efficient apartments available for all.
The New European Bauhaus brings citizens, experts, businesses, and institutions together to reimagine sustainable living in Europe and beyond. The 2026 edition of its festival, taking place in Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, focuses on democratic engagement and affordable housing.
