On Wednesday, 22 April 2026, INZEB participated in the event “EPAS Schools in Action: From Education to Active European Citizenship” held in Kefalonia, Greece, within the framework of the Europe Day 2026 celebrations.
This study day addressed key issues related to contemporary education and democratic participation, highlighting topics such as misinformation, media and democracy, as well as the environment and the climate crisis.
Our Managing Director, Alice Corovessi, contributed to the fruitful dialogue among students, teachers, and institutional representatives through her presentation “From Knowledge to Action: The Role of Youth in Climate Transition Policy-Making in Europe”, illustrating how everyday choices can become collective power for change.
The event was organised by the General Lyceum of Pastra, Kefalonia, in collaboration with the General Lyceums of Lousika and Kleitoria, Achaia Region, and the 13th General Lyceum of Patras, Achaia, Region. The Vienna Business School HAK/HAS Mödling from Austria also participated in the event.
All participating schools are certified members of the European Parliament Ambassador School Programme (EPAS), which gives students the opportunity to understand their rights as EU citizens and to learn about the role of the European Parliament.
The event was supported by the Europe Direct of Western Greece, with the participation of EU Climate Pact Ambassador, Maria Voutsina.
