On the occasion of Europe Day, the European Climate Pact community in Greece invites you to a live online event dedicated to climate action.
This year marks 40 years of shared celebrations, as we also celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first official Europe Day celebrations and the public use of the EU flag and anthem.
The event will take place on Friday, 8 May 2026, 14:00–16:00 (EEST) and will be streamed live.
More than 40 European Climate Pact Ambassadors and Partners, including representatives from four Europe Direct Centres in Greece, will share short interventions, presenting concrete initiatives, experiences, and perspectives that contribute to the green transition.
The event highlights the roles of citizens, organisations, and local actors in addressing the climate crisis and shaping Europe’s sustainable future, presented in a dynamic, concise format.
